As a Betazoid born without the capacity for empathy, Lon Suder was plagued with images of violence from a young age. Cursed with an impossibly strong urge to inflict pain, the young man joined the Maquis, seeing it as an opportunity to sate his darkest thirsts. Fate would land him on board the U.S.S. Voyager during its long journey through the Delta Quadrant, where Suder would once again be faced with the terrifying nature of his murderous tendencies. Eventually, his urges got the better of him. Caught red-handed by Tuvok, Suder was confined to the brig for the rest of Voyager’s journey home. Suder eventually found some measure of redemption when he sacrificed his own life to save Voyager from a Kazon attack. Or, at least, that is how things went in one timeline. The Krenim’s abuse of time has resulted in many changes to our present, including the ultimate fate of Lon Suder. Having never been faced with the choice to sacrifice himself, Ensign Suder never defeated his inner demons. He has since returned to the Alpha Quadrant, and his bloodlust has only deepened in captivity...
