CAPTAIN'S MANEUVER: Harmony in Individuality
OFFICER ABILITY: Power In Perfection
Not all wounds heal with time. Getting home was the mission. The mission was completed. Why, then, did Seven of Nine still feel empty? Despite her best efforts, Seven was never fully able to integrate into civilian life on Earth. The idea of being static was alien to her, the concept of comfort a far-gone dream. She felt as if she would sink into her too-soft bed at any time and be delivered back to the Borg. Seven hoped that a career in Starfleet would ease her discomfort and provide a sense of meaning to her life again. However, Federation bureaucracies proved too insurmountable a wall, and she was denied entry to Starfleet Academy. Not content to wallow away in the utopian cities of Earth, Seven struck out on her own, eager to find a path that was hers alone to tread. She found herself drawn to the darker corners of the quadrant, far from the safety of the Federation. Seven was most at home in the Neutral Zone, where she struck up friendships among the other wayward souls and Independent operators that didn’t fit in with Federation policies. There were good people out here, Seven realized, good people who needed protection that Starfleet couldn’t provide. Word soon began to spread across the Neutral Zone of a partially cybernetic guardian, a fierce protector who fought with the fury of a thousand suns to protect her territory. So hear this warning, pirates and slavers of the quadrant, keep a keen eye for the symbol of the Hound of Yoruba, for if you see her ship approaching first... It is already too late.
